What to bring to your vaccine appointment
Authorized adults who may consent for minors include:
If an authorized adult will not attend the vaccine appointment with you, check with your vaccine provider about requirements for showing proof of authorized adult consent or legal emancipation.
We encourage parents to share their success stories with us to continue encouraging other kids 5-12 to protect themselves against severe disease from Covid-19.
Entering preschool or kindergarten is a big milestone for children and their families. We know that when
children arrive in a new setting feeling welcomed and excited, they are more likely to find success.
Effective transitions are a product of thoughtful collaboration among early learning programs, schools,
communities, families, and children.
Family voice is critical to strengthening early learning transitions. Hearing from families about their own
experiences allows us to learn what’s working and discover what’s missing to support effective
transitions for all children – particularly those furthest from educational justice.
We are seeking families across from Washington to participate in listening sessions by sharing their
stories with us.
The following prompts will guide our conversation:
1. What are your hopes and dreams for your child as they enter preschool or kindergarten?
2. What are your fears and challenges?
3. What does success look like for your child?
