FFYB's mission is to provide parents with the skills, tools and resources to support their children’s early education and beyond.
Based in South King County, FFYB is actively contributing to closing the education and opportunity inequities for families of children further away from educational justice. At FFYB, we envision a world where parents are confident and have the tools to advocate for their children.

our impact
First Five Years & Beyond plays a key role in helping families navigate resources to find timely, linguistically and culturally appropriate supports for parents.
1. We engage families in identifying child developmental milestones through monthly parent workshops. 2. We provide opportunities for children to practice school readiness skills while connecting parents to the appropriate resources. 3. We assist older siblings with developing soft-skills, leadership skills, and career exposure, and knowledge of brain development. 4. We provide a safe space for parents to voice their challenges, and gain community and strength while improving their knowledge and skills around advocacy for their children. |
