Palmer Scholars Scholarship Programs

2/5/2022

The Legacy program:
This program mentors youth of color through the last years of high school into the first years of college to provide academic and financial support.

Pathways Pre-Apprenticeship program:
Palmer scholars is calling on young adults between the ages of 18 and 26 to sign up for the Pathways program, a pre-apprenticeship training program. This program provides young adults the training to prepare for and enter one of 15 trade apprenticeship programs. Scholars participate in a 14-week training program that awards them six certifications in the construction field and then assists them with job placement. The program also offers mentoring, navigation, and financial support at no cost to the participant.

Program requirements:
  • 18-26 years old
  • GED or High School Diploma (we can refer to other partners if they currently do not have this credential)
